Interested in learning to play the Scottish Highland Bagpipe or Scottish-style drumming?
Whether a seasoned musician or a novice, Silver Thistle offers small group piping and drumming lessons to those of all ages interested in learning to play the Highland bagpipe, snare, tenor and/or bass drum. Beginner group lessons for levels 1-4 are $100 per quarter. There is no charge for A and B band players. Beginners are evaluated at the end of each quarter in order to determine if they are ready to graduate to the next level. Quarters start the first Mondays of January, April, July and October Currently our lessons take place at St. Stephens Episcopal School in Brewster Hall on Mondays at 6:30 PM. New classes start the first Monday of January, April, July and October barring holidays. For directions to the St. Stephens campus see below:
