What goes better than bagpipes and whiskey?! We’re very excited to announce another raffle item for our upcoming July 6 Scotland Send-Off Show at The ABGB.
(Snare) DRUM ROLL……. A bottle of Chapter 5.2 "Eleanor” bourbon from Crowded Barrel Whiskey Co. aged right here in Austin, Texas and bottled at cask strength! We will be pairing this with a lovely book on all things whiskey!
We visited with Dr. DeWalch with Spine & Sports Therapy who has helped one of our pipers tremendously with some simple stretches to alleviate back pain that results from a static, repetitive position combined with hours of practice.

We had the privilege of connecting with Glen Moyer today, producer of Under The Tartan Sky, an excellent podcast series of all things Scottish. He has graciously donated a gorgeous pendant toward our raffle and to support our fundraising efforts as we travel abroad to Scotland this summer! This newly added raffle item is hand-crafted of a blue jewel stone and set in sterling silver on a silver chain, made by Christine Sadler with Unforgettable Jewelry of Ayr, Scotland!
We are thrilled to announce one of our raffle items for our upcoming Scotland Send-Off Show - a bespoke piece of Texas-shaped Tartan artwork custom made for our event! We have partnered with Scottish Artist Tessa Palmer, who lives in the Scottish Highlands, and creates meaningful modern artwork mixing the beautiful and unique woolen texture and assorted colors of Scotland’s renowned tartan fabric with any geographical or meaningful shape relevant to her clients.
